Ponza can be reached by various means of transport:

• By air from the airports of Rome and Naples and from there to the ports by train, taxi, rental car or helicopter;
• By train to Formia and Anzio and from there to ports by taxi or on foot ( about 1 kilometre);
• Driving to the port of Formia, Terracina and Anzio.

On the island it is forbidden to drive vehicles of non-residents in the summer months.
